📣 Meet the hearts behind Dayglow Farm, Tara & Ben!
👩🏻🌾 Tara: A hairstylist, plant enthusiast, music playlist curator, social media fairy, and the mastermind behind our hatch schedules. She has a deep interest in chicken genetics and breeding and is always thinking of ways to grow Dayglow
👨🏻🌾 Ben: A music teacher and member of a dark folk rock band (so badass 🤘). He brings the muscle, the problem-solving, and the creative solutions that keep the farm running smoothly. The chickens absolutely adore him
And lastly (the most exciting part)..
✨Dayglow: What started in 2021 with just a few chickens during the pandemic has since grown (and multiplied 🐓🥚). Over time, we’ve honed in on selective breeding for unique traits and beautiful egg colors. At our micro hatchery, we’ve got a little barn where our future fluffy hatches will happen, plus two spacious coops and a handful of smaller, comfy ones for our feathered friends. We’re always dreaming about what’s next. For now, we’re taking a little seasonal break from hatching and offering our hand gathered eggs
