Police are looking for a person who broke into the Lakes Region Humane Society and stole three animals.

Meet Briar – our sweet senior lady in need of a soft place to land. 💛

Briar is 11 years old and recently found herself at the shelter after her loving owner had to move and could no longer care for her. Understandably, the transition has been hard. While Briar is as sweet as can be, the shelter environment has been a bit stressful for her — and we know she’d feel so much better in a calm, cozy foster home. 🏡

She has hyperthyroidism, which we’re helping her treat, but what she really needs right now is someone to show her love, patience, and kindness during this time. ✨

If you’ve got room in your heart and home to give this special girl a peaceful place to stay, we’d love to hear from you. Fostering truly saves lives — and it might just be the best part of your summer. ☀️
