Another in our tiny but mighty series.
Meet ZigZag. He came to us thru a very good Sam who had taken him to the vet. It seems something tried to eat him and he managed to get away only losing part of his upper lip. The nice person who found him reached out to us because they feared his wound was getting worse and they couldn’t afford to keep taking him back to the vet. So we advised them to drop him back off at Ozark Veterinary Clinic and we would ensure he be seen and we would pick him up from there. Dr Wes thoroughly checked him out and while his wound looks gnarly it’s in pretty good shape. It is healing, but won’t fill in the gap supposed to cover his two teeth that are showing. Potentially he could lose them once he’s an adult if they dry out too much; but for now he eats great is active and playful. Other than being covered head to toe in ringworm and a nasty infestation of intestinal parasites, which of course we are working on…. he is ok.
Because someone cared, Zigzag will get to grow up and go to a loving home with his precious snaggle tooth face.
