They're responsible for taking dogs off the street and providing them a temporary home at the shelter. There are always new dogs coming into the facility!

Baylie Grubbs has decided to help our shelter by doing a shirt and hat fundraiser! There will be 3 shirt color options available and hats available. Please share to get the word out! There will NOT be a white box behind the design. That was just a mock up sample to display color options.

Tshirts $20 each

Hats $16 each

Payments must be submitted at time of ordering.

You can drop payment off at the Dexter Police Department anytime.

This sweet gentleman’s name is Barley❣️🌾

Barley has been with us since last December and gets king treatment around here! He loves snuggling in blankets, on beds, couches, and keeping soft toys nearby.
Barley unfortunately is heart worm positive, and has had to have a few bad teeth pulled since his stay with us. Despite his health journey, Barley is doing great and ready for his forever home.
This sweet man has the most loving eyes and easygoing demeanor, he loves having someone present just in the room with him. He is still learning how to cuddle with humans and accept love, but would open up with home routines.
Barley is neutered, microchipped, and ready to go! This sweet man would be perfect for anyone looking for a pet to keep them company on the couch. He has been outside with one of our other dogs, and has done great with everyone who passes by him. Barley minds his own business, but wants space and doesn’t like when others are pushy. He has been around cats and is only interested in them, nothing beyond looking at them. This sweet man deserves a home with love, away from the noise and chaos of the shelter!

Does anyone know who these little babies belong to? Found running around by the gallery with a third dog, the one on the pink blanket is male the other is female. We do not have these dogs in the shelter.
