🐾💕 NALA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME 💕🐾

Nala was surrendered today because her owner is moving and sadly can’t take her with him. This sweet girl is now waiting for a new family to love.

She’s about 3–4 years old, very friendly and loving, and her owner says she loves to cuddle! She is spayed, so you will be responsible for covering her $25 for her rabies shot. Looking for a couch companion? Nala might be your perfect match.

‼️ Nala is available for adoption NOW and must be out of the pound by November 13, 2026.

If you can give her a loving home, contact Desloge Animal Control at 573-430-8382.

Please share—let’s help Nala find a family and a cozy place to call her own! 🐾💕

🎃🐾 Meet Goblin! 🐾🎃

Her credit score is 870, but she’ll still expect you to pay for dinner. 😂

This girl LOVES food and attention—and sees absolutely no reason you can’t provide both at the same time. Her qualifications include supervising meal prep, accepting compliments, and making sure you never eat alone.

Goblin would make a wonderful addition to someone’s home! She’s ready to steal your heart… and possibly your lunch. 🧡

Interested in this financially responsible little freeloader? Contact Desloge Animal Control at 573-430-8382!

*** Owner found!

🐾 Do you recognize us? 🐾

These two furry friends were found on P Highway by a kind person who stopped to keep them from getting hit.

Both appear well groomed and cared for, but neither has identification or a microchip to help us locate their owners.

If you recognize these dogs or know who they belong to, please call 573-430-8382. Proof of ownership is required to claim.

Please share to help get these two back home!

🎃🐾 Our furry friends could use a little Halloween magic! 🐾🎃

The cats and dogs at Desloge Animal Control are hoping our wonderful community can help fill their bowls and bring some extra fun to their days! 🧡

We’re in need of:

- Dog food
- Cat food and litter
- Dog toys
- Cat toys
- Cat scratchers for their cages

These goodies will help keep our animals fed, comfortable, and entertained while they wait for their forever homes. Every bit of support means so much to us and the animals in our care! 💛

👻 Have any extra pet Halloween costumes? If you’d like to see one of our furry friends dressed up in an outfit, you’re welcome to donate it! We’d love to give them a chance to show off their spooky style. 🎃🐶🐱

If you’d like to help or have any questions, please contact Desloge Animal Control at 573-430-8382.

Thank you for helping make this spooky season a little brighter for our four-legged friends! 🧡

🎃🐾 Nova is Available for Adoption! 🐾🎃

We were able to find Nova’s original owner, and they have surrendered her to Desloge Animal Control. That means Nova is available for adoption now!

Nova is hoping someone will open their heart and home to her this spooky season. Could you be the one to give this girl her happy ending?

She is approximately 1-2 years old. Seems to do good with other dogs, you can always come and do a meet and greet!

The adopter will be required to get her rabies shot which is $25 and an appointment to be fixed.

If you’re interested in adopting Nova, please contact Desloge Animal Control at 573-430-8382.

Please share to help Nova find her new home! 🖤🧡

🎃🐾 Something spook-tacular is happening at the pound! 🐾🎃

We’ve received a generous donation to help us move forward with our new dog runs! That means more space for our little howl-o-ween buddies to stretch their legs, play, and enjoy the outdoors!

A huge thank-you to our generous supporter for treating our animals to something wonderful!

Keep watching as we turn this exciting project into a reality and continue making our pound better for the animals in our care. More room, more zoomies, more happy tails! 🐾 👻
