A nervous but adorable Jeffrey was wrapped tightly by Wendy in a cozy blanket this morning to keep him toasty in preparation for his dental procedure. This 2 year old Yorkie was adopted from the Meriden Humane Society and he had 6 deciduous teeth present that were extracted today. Deciduous teeth, also known as baby teeth, need to be removed if they do not fall out on their own as they can crowd the adult teeth and lead to advancement of periodontal disease. Jeffrey was a champ today! 💪🏾

We felt your Sunday would be incomplete without a picture of a 5lb Toy Poodle in a watermelon onesie!!! 😍 Meet 2 year old Pepper! She came to see Dr. M and Mary on Friday to get established as a new patient. And she is fantastic!!! She is like a little squishy stuffed animal and we could not get enough of her!

Happy weekend from Angel!!! This big headed 5 year old Pittie saw Dr. M and Sarah G yesterday afternoon. She is the sweetest girl but so strong! She kept getting out of Sarah's grasp and would do zoomies all around the perimeter of the room. We all just kept laughing 🤪

16 year old Godrick is the sweetest boy and he felt so secure in his "purrito", just staying in there when not even being held! He was diagnosed last year with hyperthyroidism and is still having some weight loss so his wonderful family brought him in yesterday to see Dr. C and Meg. He has the softest fur!!! And Sarah says he reminds her Daniel Striped Tiger😻

Check out this 9 week old little cutie!!! Say hello to Morpheus! He had his first kitten appointment with Dr. C and Alyssa yesterday afternoon. He was only 2lbs 3oz but he definitely had a little "catitude" when he wasn't getting his way!! But honestly, how could you stay mad at this precious little boy?! 🤣

Our new patient yesterday afternoon was Lucy, a 6 year old Hound mix. Dr. M and Rachel just adored her! She was nervous but she was so brave! When you put a treat down, at first she would very cautiously take it but eventually, she began to take it right out of our hands! But when Mom said one of her favorite words "ball", those beautiful ears would perk right up!

Happy Memorial Day!!! Say hello to Levi! This handsome 5 year old Goldendoodle with the big smile came in as a new patient on Friday. He was a nervous boy but so incredibly sweet! And we were able to win him over with a lot of tasty Milkbones and Pupperonis, the key to most dogs hearts 💛💛💛

We are closed today, Saturday, May 23rd through Monday, May 25th on observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday at 8am. But we did want to leave you with this cutie patootie that we met yesterday! Lola is an 11 week old Boxer and she is the sweetest little baby. We are truly SO blessed to have some of the most amazing clients and patients! And today, we received this wonderful surprise that brought tears to our eyes! Bart is a 16 year old Jack Russell mix who has dealt with some chronic health conditions for a while and most recently, had to have his eye removed at Central Hospital due to severe glaucoma. We adore this boy! And his dad take the very best care of him! He is doing pretty well post operatively, which is all we need to hear, but delicious treats certainly never hurt 😜💕 Thanks to our Barty!!! 😘
