Soooo a baby coyote tried to play with Hana this am! I had to be like “No, no baby! You have to go away!”
I wasn’t able to get a pic of baby because I was trying to keep the puppies from playing and didn’t have eyes on mom. But mom popped up a few seconds later and was like “Have you seen my kid?” and I was like “Yeah, over there!”
She wasn’t aggressive at all. Just kept a watchful eye as Hana and I moved away. Baby coyote scared the crap out of me though!

‼️ 👀 Just a reminder to stay calm, keep eyes on the situation, and slowly and calmly move away if you encounter a coyote.

We will be staying on the main trail (since we were on a dirt trail) from now on in case their den is near where we saw them. I would love to see them again, but have to be careful with encounters, especially that close.

Everyone…..I am pleased to introduce the newest member of the Dugan family and the first ever trainer hire for Get Sit Done Dogs!!!

Hana! It means flower in Japanese. She is 10 months old and guessed to be a German Shepherd/Lab mix (maybe some Pittie in there?)
I can’t wait to share her with the world!
