🐾 Pet Appreciation Week is almost here — and we can’t wait to celebrate your beloved companions! 🐾

Starting next week, we’re rolling out the red carpet for all your furry friends! To make the occasion extra special, we’ll have a photo area set up just for you and your pet — the perfect spot to capture some paws-itively adorable memories together. 📸🐶🐱

But that’s not all! We’re also proud to be partnering with the Denham Springs Animal Shelter for a Pet Supply Drive. If you bring in any purina pet food, toys, milk bone treats or other supplies to help animals in need, we’ll say thank you with a free goodie bag packed with treats and surprises from us to you. 🎁❤️

Let’s make this week all about celebrating the joy our pets bring into our lives—and helping those still waiting for their forever homes. We can't wait to see you (and your pets)!

Here at Dodge City, we offer Cyrotherapy! Cryotherapy is a medical treatment that uses extreme cold to destroy abnormal tissue. Ever had a wart froze off? 👀 Cryotherapy can be a great option for treating small masses in dogs for several reasons:
1. Minimally Invasive
Cryotherapy involves freezing the abnormal tissue, usually with liquid nitrogen or another cryogenic agent, which destroys it without the need for surgical incisions. This is ideal for small or surface-level masses.
2. Quick Procedure
It’s typically a quick procedure that can often be done in a single veterinary visit, sometimes even without general anesthesia—just a local anesthetic or mild sedation.
3. Reduced Pain and Recovery Time
Compared to traditional surgery, cryotherapy usually results in less post-procedure pain and faster recovery times. That means less stress and downtime for your dog.
4. Lower Risk of Complications
Because there's no cutting or stitching involved, the risk of bleeding, infection, or wound complications is much lower.
5. Great for Hard-to-Reach or Sensitive Areas
Cryotherapy can be especially useful for masses located on the eyelids, paws, or other tricky spots where surgery might be more difficult or risky.
6. Cost-Effective
It’s often more affordable than surgical removal since it requires fewer resources and less time.
7. Repeatable if Necessary
If the mass regrows or wasn't fully treated the first time, cryotherapy can usually be repeated with minimal risk.
8. Doctor Carr really likes singing "Let it go!" ❄️☃️
