Rusty’s owner, Lucy came today for her first ride on her 2yo and they did great! I see a lot of younger me in Lucy which makes me so excited for her future. Even one goosey moment and she handled it like a seasoned pro.

Very proud of you today!

Rusty’s had 45 days in training so far with 18 rides. 4 rides in a bit. Very green c**t for a client to step on, they blew me away with their finesse!

🫧 Barn Tip 🫧

• Pour a little bit of Chloro in a 3 gal bucket, then fill half full w water.

• This mixture will disinfect your bits between uses.

• I prefer to hang my bucket of mixture next to my bridle rack to easily dip each bit into after unbridling. Then hang to dry.

• Once I started doing this, I’ve noticed I’ve had a lot less coughing, runny noses, and “c**t colds” in my program.

✨ Few improvements to TPH arena last weekend. Finish all kick boards, gate keepers, & money box mounted, started a small section of insulation for the tack room.

It’s hurt my heart a bit staying off the road more this year, missing out on races I’d love to be at, but had a huge goal to get my facility going in the direction I’ve always dreamt of.

I love teaching lessons on this green c**ts. So much value for c**ts to stay tuned in on the rider with distractions, as well as demoing exercises on a c**t that doesn’t do it perfectly.

Right at 3 month mark in training for this c**t. Lots of athleticism, try, and willingness.

First time ever asked for a lead change.

We had an odd spectator for this mornings lessons… even thought he could get a job as tractor driver. 😂😂
