This week, our team had the joy of releasing a beautiful barred owl back into the wild! After being brought to FloridaWild with injuries that left it unable to fly, our wildlife rehab staff provided medical care, nutrition, and plenty of rest to help this owl regain its strength.

There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a patient spread its wings and return to the trees where it belongs. Moments like these remind us why rehabilitation and rescue efforts are so important,every life matters.

A huge thank-you to the Good Samaritan who found this owl and got it help, and to our dedicated team who worked tirelessly to make this release possible. 💚

What Makes FloridaWild Different?

Each pet we see has a unique set of needs. We tailor our veterinary care to the individual, not the species. Our holistic approach means we take care of the whole patient. At FloridaWild, we use many modalities to help your pet live their best life.

Depending on the age and species of your pet, we recommend semi-annual or annual examinations. At this visit we will thoroughly examine your pet, their diet, exercise and any other concerns you have. We may suggest infectious disease and internal organ function testing. Once we have those results, we will design a treatment protocol including nutritional counseling, supplements and future testing.

Our clients are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here. At all times, our clients and patients will be treated with respect, dignity and compassion.
