This gorgeous mama cat showed up as a pregnant stray at a home in Guttenberg, where she gave birth to five adorable kittens. Since then, the whole family has been lovingly cared for by their amazing 90-year-old caretaker, who has done an absolutely incredible job with them! ❤️

Now that the kittens are six weeks old, we’re excited to help find wonderful homes for Mama Bella and all five of her babies — and we’re currently obsessing over how beautiful this entire family is! 😍

Bella and her kittens still have a couple of weeks before they’re ready to be spayed and neutered, but we’ll begin accepting adoption applications soon. If you’re interested in fostering the family or adopting one (or more!), send us a message! 🐾

Foster needed for this tiny baby! 🍼

He’s less than a week old and sadly was the only kitten in his litter still alive when they were found. There was no mama in sight.

We need someone who can bottle feed this little guy. Please reach out if you can help! 🐾

Let me tell you about my best friend… 🐾

Vandy + Stevie 💕

Vandy was found in Cresco clinging to a tree during a severe thunderstorm. Stevie was found near New Albin with a pretty impressive botfly warble in her neck.

They both came into foster care as singletons, found each other, and have pretty much been inseparable ever since.

Aren’t they just the cutest little pair? Fingers crossed their forever home has room for both of them 🤞🏻 At this point, we’re not sure they’d approve of being separated. 😉

It was a busy one today! 🐱💜

A double vet day meant 25 adoptable and TNR cats were spayed/neutered between New Hampton Vet and Postville Vet. We’re incredibly thankful to have clinics that are so dedicated to helping cats throughout Northeast Iowa.

Days like today take a lot of coordinating, driving, and helping hands — thank you to everyone who played a part! 🐾

Our urgent foster request went out last night for a stray mama cat giving birth in Cresco, and our amazing Facebook community answered the call!

Mama and her six adorable kittens were taken to a temporary foster home last night, and everyone looks healthy and is doing well. One little baby appears to have a minor cleft, although his palate looks okay, so we’ll be monitoring him closely. We’ve never seen anything quite like it in person before!

We’re so grateful this little family is safe, warm and dry instead of outside in all this rainy weather we've been having. Thank you to everyone who shared, offered to help and made this possible! 🐾
