We hope your weekend is off to a great start. As a reminder, if your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, we recommend either Springfield Animal Emergency or the U of I Small Animal ER.

Ravin here, can you believe I’ve been snuggling puppies and loving on your babies for almost 10 years? ❤️

For those who may not know, I’m also the person behind the posts here at BCAH. Over the last decade, this clinic, our clients, and your pets have become such a huge part of my life. One of the things I’ve been most passionate about throughout my career has been building relationships with clients who became like family, celebrating new puppies and kittens, helping pets find loving homes, and being there for families during some of their hardest moments.

Next Thursday will officially be my last day at BCAH as I continue furthering my career in veterinary medicine. I would truly love the chance to say goodbye to all of my wonderful clients and patients before then. I’ll miss all of your babies more than words can say but please keep in touch! I hope to get many pictures and updates.❤️

For the safety of your pets, our staff and other clients, all cats must arrive in a secure carrier or be properly restrained on a harness and leash while inside the clinic.

Our lobby is shared with dogs, and because our clinic is located on a busy road, unsecured cats may become stressed, escape unexpectedly, or risk injury to themselves or others.

To help us maintain a safe and low-stress environment for everyone, we kindly ask that all feline patients remain safely contained while awaiting their appointment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 🐾
