If your pet DOES need the veterinarian:

🐾 Same-Day Urgent Care Issues (Not Life-Threatening, But Shouldn’t Wait) 🐾

Some pet concerns aren’t emergencies, but they still need to be seen the same day to prevent discomfort or complications. If your pet is experiencing any of the following, we recommend a same-day urgent care visit:

⚠️ Persistent vomiting or diarrhea (more than once)
⚠️ Limping or sudden discomfort that isn’t improving
⚠️ Ear infections — redness, odor, discharge, or shaking head
⚠️ Eye issues — squinting, redness, discharge, or swelling
⚠️ Moderate allergic reactions — itching, hives, mild facial swelling
⚠️ Minor wounds, cuts, or abscesses
⚠️ Broken nails or bleeding nails
⚠️ Sudden skin flare-ups like hot spots or rapidly worsening rashes
⚠️ Vomiting after eating something unusual
⚠️ Coughing or sneezing fits (but still breathing normally)
⚠️ Straining to p**p or mild constipation
⚠️ Urinary changes — frequent urination or accidents (but still able to urinate)
⚠️ Foreign body concerns — eating toys, string, socks, etc. (but not choking)
⚠️ Painful mouth, broken tooth, or bad dental flare-up
⚠️ Swelling anywhere on the body that appeared suddenly

These issues aren’t usually life-threatening, but waiting too long can make them worse or more painful — so a same-day exam is the best choice.

🚨 FOUND INJURED CAT – NEED HELP FINDING OWNER 🚨

A young male cat was just brought into Pet Care Plus by a Good Samaritan who witnessed him possibly being struck by a car near Coldwater Road and M15.

The holiday season is full of family, food, and fun — but some Thanksgiving traditions can be dangerous for our furry friends. At Pet Care Plus, we want your pets to enjoy the holiday safely right along with you!

🚫 Foods to Avoid
• Turkey skin, bones, and fat trimmings — can cause GI upset or pancreatitis
• Stuffing & casseroles — often contain onions, garlic, and heavy seasoning toxic to pets
• Grapes & raisins — even small amounts can cause kidney failure
• Chocolate, pies, & sweets — dangerous and sometimes deadly
• Yeast dough — can expand inside the stomach

• Plain turkey meat (no skin or seasoning)
• Green beans, carrots, plain sweet potato

🐾 4-Year-Old Pup Fighting Pyometra – Needs Our Community 🐾

Our clinic is asking for the community’s help today. Lucille, a loving 4-year-old female dog, has been diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that requires urgent treatment. Her family is doing everything they can, but they are facing financial hardships and cannot cover the full cost of her care.
