Throw back to a couple weeks ago when Dr. Turner was on one of her rotations on Mackinac Island.

Dr. Turner is one of several veterinarians that provide the veterinary care for the working and private horses on the island.
These trips are pretty much the only time you’ll find her practicing general vet medicine. Treating colics, lameness, cuts and bruises, or cleaning sheaths!
Ok, I kid on that last one. Even there you won’t find her cleaning any sheaths, but she will provide the sedation for someone else to! 😆

Charlotte even joined for part of the trip to help knock out some dentals!
Because you know we cant help but do some teeth!! 🦷🦷🦷

The days are generally a lot of biking up and down hills 🚲😅 taking care of the hard working horses, but we did find some time to go on a trail ride or two! 🏇

Somehow no one got a pic of Charlotte petting, scratching, or baby talking the gentle giants, even though it’s what she did endlessly! ☺️😍
