Meet Naomi, Nico, Noopy, and Sky—our current Mutts With Manners puppers! 🐶✨ These doggies needed a little extra help to let their inner superstars shine, so they're buddied up with carefully screened inmates for a fun six- to eight-week training adventure. The doggos hang out in the prison dorms with their handlers 🏠 and join weekly training sessions led by our awesome trainer, Cheri Carbone. 🎓🐕

With help from Cheri, our super-committed volunteers 🙌, and their totally devoted handlers, the dogs get the routine, social time, and confidence boost they need to rock life in a regular home. They soak up one-on-one attention 💛, learn new skills, and get tons of love. By graduation day, our Mutts With Manners pups are happier, better behaved, and all geared up to meet their forever family. 🥳🏡

All Mutts With Manners cuties come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and crate trained—basically the whole starter pack! 🧡✨

🐾✨ We Need Your Help Naming Our Newest Family! ✨🐾

We have some adorable new residents settling in, and it’s time for one of our favorite times: naming!

Say hello to our newest little family:

👩‍🦳 Mama Cat – A super friendly gray/brown tabby who loves people and is already soaking up attention.
🐱 Tuxedo Female Kitten – Dapper as can be with her black-and-white coat.
🐱 Light Gray Tabby Female Kitten – Soft, sweet, and oh-so-precious.
🐱 Brown Tabby Male Kitten – Tiny stripes, big personality.

They’re estimated to be around 4 weeks old, still with Mama, and absolutely melting our hearts, and they will all be ready for adoption once they are weaned and can be vaccinated, usually around 4 more weeks from now.

It was a fantastic month for helping pets stay happy, healthy, and right where they belong — with their people. 🐾❤️

We provided over $1,600 in grants for emergency vet care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and more. 💵 💉

We also shared 900+ pounds of pet food 🥫 plus plenty of leashes, collars, toys, and treats 🥎🦴 to keep those tails wagging!

None of this is pawssible without our amazing community. Every donation — big or small — helps pets and their families in Danville–Boyle County get the support they need. 🐶🐱

It takes a village… and ours is pretty incredible. 💛

🐾💛 Everett: Master of the Side-Eye, Waiting for His Person 💛🐾

We tried to get some new photos of Everett today…with mixed results. Most of our shots feature him giving us a well practiced side-eye — cautious, curious, and undeniably adorable.

Everett is a 2-year-old beagle mix who is still learning that people can be safe. He’s never aggressive, only unsure, and he takes his time deciding who to trust. But once you earn that trust, we know there’s a gentle, loving heart ready to shine through.

He’s handsome, sensitive, and truly trying his best. All he needs now is someone patient and kind to help him take the next steps forward.

If you believe in quiet victories and soft beginnings, Everett could be the dog who blossoms for you. 💛🐶

🐾✨ Meet Lock (M), Shock (F) & Barrel (M) — Our Newest Puppy Trio! ✨🐾

Just in time to brighten your week, three absolutely adorable pups have arrived and are officially ready to meet their future families!

Introducing Lock, Shock, and Barrel — a litter of ridiculously cute Husky/Blue Heeler mixes, each with their own special look and charm. These babies are just about 2 months old and overflowing with curiosity, sweetness, and puppy energy.

💙 Lock – Male
Black on top, white on the belly, and a face that could melt anyone.

💜 Shock – Female
Black and white like her brother, with beautiful tan patterns blended in for extra flair.

🩶 Barrel – Male
Sporting classic blue heeler spots on a stunning gray-blue coat.

They’re playful, cuddly, wiggly, and ready to make someone very, very happy.

And guess what? Mom is available too!
🌟 Brooke is a gorgeous 1-year-old Husky with tons of energy, a sweet personality, and the iconic black-and-white coat she passed down to two of her babies. She’s looking for her forever family as well, and we’d love to see her find a home of her own.
