It’s back-to-school time for the kiddos, so our daycare pups decided they needed school pictures too! 📸🐶❤️

We had so much fun getting everyone ready for their first day back and capturing their adorable school photos. We think this class is going to have a PAW-some year! 🐾✏️🍎

🐱❤️ Help Us Find Forever Homes! ❤️🐱

A kind-hearted person recently rescued this sweet young momma cat, who is only about 1 year old, after discovering she was pregnant. She has now safely delivered her kittens and has been an amazing mom!

Momma is incredibly sweet and calm. She loves being held, petted, and getting lots of attention. 🥰 She is not currently spayed or vaccinated since she recently gave birth, so her future family will need to make sure she receives those important preventative care services when she is ready.

Her kittens are about 4 weeks old and are still nursing but will soon begin weaning. They are not quite old enough for vaccines yet, but their future families will need to keep them on track with vaccinations and routine veterinary care as they grow. 🐾

We would love to help find loving, responsible forever homes for Momma and her babies! If you are interested in adopting one of them, please reach out to us and we can put you in contact with their current caretaker.
Please share to help these sweet kitties find their forever families! ❤️🐱🐾

🦠 Ringworm isn’t actually a worm—it’s a fungus! 🐶🍄

Ever wonder how we test for ringworm? Here’s a look at one of the tools we use: a Fungassay fungal culture.

To perform the test, we collect a small sample of the patient’s hair from the affected area and place it into the culture jar containing a special yellow gel. The culture is then monitored over the next two weeks for fungal growth.

If ringworm is present, the dermatophyte fungi begin to grow, forming the white, fuzzy colonies you see. As the fungus grows, the gel also changes color, helping us identify a positive result.

Most cultures take time to develop, so we allow up to 14 days before confirming a result. This patient’s sample, however, was strongly positive in just 4 days—the fungal growth took off much faster than expected!

If your pet has hair loss, circular patches of missing fur, flaky skin, or crusty lesions, it’s important to have them examined. Ringworm is contagious and zoonotic, meaning it can spread between animals and people, so early diagnosis and treatment are key.

Have questions about ringworm or your pet’s skin? Give us a call—we’re always happy to help! 🐾

Helping our sweet patient feel better, one laser treatment at a time. 🐶💙✨

Laser therapy can help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and support healing—making it a great addition to treatment for some ear infections and other conditions.
