What an odd looking cat. Well, sometimes you run across an injured pigeon and just happen to have a cat trap in your car. Nothing like getting a call from your sister at work saying, "So, theoretically.... There might or might not be a pigeon in our car." Don't worry, Schrodinger the pigeon was transported to a wildlife rehab who specializes in pigeons.

We're weaning! Chedder Bay Biscuit has a minor case of mastitis, so we're keeping an eye on her while we actively try to expedite the weaning process of the Cheeses. 3/4 of them are licking the wet food when I offer it to them, and this little cheese puff was going to town before I started filming!

💔🩺 THEY THOUGHT HE TURNED MEAN… HE WAS ACTUALLY SCREAMING IN PAIN 🐾💔

One week earlier, he was cuddling on the couch.

Then suddenly everything changed.

Hissing.

Scratching.

Hiding.

Growling whenever someone came close.

The family became afraid of the cat they once trusted.

They thought his personality had changed.

What they didn’t see was the infection spreading deep inside his mouth… making every touch feel unbearable.

Animals don’t have words for “My teeth hurt.”

So sometimes pain comes out looking like anger.

And sometimes the pets called “aggressive” are actually suffering in silence. 💔

Hello! With our influx of kittens, now is a great time to remind everyone that two kittens is better than one 🩵 it's also a requirement, sometimes. We do not adopt out single kittens to households with no other cats. It's very important that kittens have other cat companions as they grow otherwise they can get Single Kitten Syndrome which *nobody* wants.

Loving cats means doing what's best for them, and that's what we're all about 🩵

We're celebrating the small wins. The Crawl Space kittens are still figuring out what eating without momma is like. Lucky for us, they're right at the stage where they can be weaned. But even still, some of them are not as quick to pick up how to eat on their own. Specifically, Fungi. Here's a quick video where I caught her eating on her own. Go Fungi!
