💔🩺 THEY THOUGHT HE TURNED MEAN… HE WAS ACTUALLY SCREAMING IN PAIN 🐾💔

One week earlier, he was cuddling on the couch.

Then suddenly everything changed.

Hissing.

Scratching.

Hiding.

Growling whenever someone came close.

The family became afraid of the cat they once trusted.

They thought his personality had changed.

What they didn’t see was the infection spreading deep inside his mouth… making every touch feel unbearable.

Animals don’t have words for “My teeth hurt.”

So sometimes pain comes out looking like anger.

And sometimes the pets called “aggressive” are actually suffering in silence. 💔

Hello! With our influx of kittens, now is a great time to remind everyone that two kittens is better than one 🩵 it's also a requirement, sometimes. We do not adopt out single kittens to households with no other cats. It's very important that kittens have other cat companions as they grow otherwise they can get Single Kitten Syndrome which *nobody* wants.

Loving cats means doing what's best for them, and that's what we're all about 🩵

We're celebrating the small wins. The Crawl Space kittens are still figuring out what eating without momma is like. Lucky for us, they're right at the stage where they can be weaned. But even still, some of them are not as quick to pick up how to eat on their own. Specifically, Fungi. Here's a quick video where I caught her eating on her own. Go Fungi!

Introducing the Crawl Space kittens! Update on momma Crawl Space is that she has been sighted, but has yet to crawl into the trap. Keeping fingers crossed we catch her soon. The babies are in the process of weaning, and it's messy messy! More to come!

Someone told us he heard kittens in his crawl space. So we gathered our handy cat trap and dove under his house. And what did we find? Five kittens! Momma isn't present, but we're leaving her some snacks in the hopes we can reunite her with her babies!
