Hoppy Easter, from the crew at Pine Point Animal Hospital! 🐰 Every bunny around the clinic is getting egg-cited for the holiday weekend 😊 A few pet safety tips to remember this Easter:

🌷 Easter lilies are beautiful, but are highly toxic to kitties! Even a few granules of pollen can cause acute kidney failure.

🍫 Make sure to keep chocolate bunnies out of paws-reach!

🥚 Keep track of where you hide the Easter eggs so curious pets don't find themselves a snack

We hope you all have a fantastic holiday weekend!

💚 April is Heartworm Awareness Month 💚

Our pets fill our hearts with love; it's our job to protect theirs! This month is dedicated to raising awareness about heartworm disease, a serious and potentially fatal condition that can affect dogs and cats.

In the United States, approximately 1 in 200 dogs, or around 250,000, get heartworm each year. While less common, cats can also be infected, with about 1 in 500 cats testing positive annually.

Luckily, heartworm is preventable with an easy monthly chewable or topical solution. Get in touch to learn more about your options, or visit our online pharmacy to have vet-approved preventatives sent right to your doorstep.

When it comes to bottle babies, it's all hands on deck 🫶 This little one was found and brought in by a good samaritan client 💚

Kittens this age need to be kept warm and fed regularly, requiring regular care every few hours to ensure they're doing well.

Introducing our newest clinic kitty, Stripes! Can you believe this little cutie was found wandering alone out by the zoo? Luckily, a good samaritan picked him up and brought him in to check for a microchip.

We're not sure what breed of cat he is, but we expect he's going to be a BIG cuddle bug 😍😻
