Texas K9 Rehab

Texas K9 Rehab Right energy, Right dog.

I just got back from Kansas City after working with Blaine, the aggressive/reactive pit/lab.

Blaine was lunging at people (me), cars, dogs, you name it. Now my clients finally have control and Blaine doesn’t feel like he needs to be responsible for everything going on around him.

“I highly recommend Texas K9 Rehab. John was beyond all positive expectations. He traveled to train our anxious and territorial rescue dog, Blaine. We had tried so many different things since we started observing his guarding behaviors and being overly protective of us. We tried another kind of training, a behaviorist and positive reinforcement to no avail. Then John came and trained with us for 3 days. We have control back, new tools to continue to use and a dog who is more relaxed with new behaviors. We are thrilled! Blaine is happy because now he can learn just to be a dog and enjoy his life. We simply cannot recommend John enough.”

If you think you can control a dog (or kid) without discipline, you’re flirting with a huge future liability for 10+ years.

This is the wrong mindset and there’s a better way.

Our Story

Texas K9 Rehab is headed up by lead behaviorist, John Miller. Miller has been the “go to” trainer in the DFW area for more than a dozen years. He is often the last resort for many fearful or aggressive dogs who would be euthanized without his incredible training, but he is also able to transform dogs with very unusual behavior. Miller works with Dallas Pets Alive, Cody’s Friends, Habitat 4 Paws, Angie’s Friends and the Allen Animal Shelter. Assistant Trainer, Carlen Morgan joined the team in 2018. Miller also works with dogs in New Mexico and neighboring states.

Texas K9 Rehab’s motto is every dog deserves a chance and they are capable of becoming the dog they are meant to be. It is our mission to educate you how to become a true pack leader and create a peaceful and happy home for people and dogs! We provide many options; home training with either our lead behaviorist, John Miller or Assistant Trainer, Carlen Morgan, Board and Train, Adoption/Rescue training, basic boarding and training for non-profit rescue volunteers, fosters or dogs. -Puppy or Basic Obedience-1-1.5 hours in your home with Carlen Morgan.
