Another Champs in the books for BT!
It was an exciting year for us! Our Champs crew was bigger than ever before. This was the first year we entered 3 Championship Teams. On Friday we had 3 Championship Singles. Cherry placed 2nd in Div 1, Mamba placed 3rd in Div 1, and Prim placed 3rd in Div 2! Way to go BT baby dogs! BING started out in last seed on Saturday and ended up going undefeated, placing 1st in Div 7 Championship. It was a memorable final race against our TX friends OddBallz Flyball Club! Their sportsmanship in the finals was amazing! BANG placed 5th in Div 3. We were happy to place in the top half of this very competitive division. For BOOM, our fastest time of 14.722 in the time trials put us in Div 1 on Sunday with 9 of the fastest teams in U-FLI. We ran clean and ended up placing 2nd in Div 1 after an exhilarating finals race! Congratulations to this year’s champions, Rocket Relay Flyball Club!
It was Heidi, Kelly & Levi’s first year to attend Champs. They all did an awesome job in the lanes!
On Saturday, Levi competed in the U-FLI box loader challenge and placed 3rd!
Apex received the Unsung Hero award after racing on Sunday, recognizing her as a backbone of team BOOM!
The teamwork and camaraderie this year was like no other! Huge shoutout to Doreen for driving up earlier than planned to bring us a dog to list on BANG. With hardly any notice she hopped in her van and headed to St. Louis to make sure our lineups were complete.
Congratulations to our flyball region for representing so well this year! We enjoyed celebrating everyone’s achievements! Thank you to everyone who supported us over the weekend.

Over the weekend we co-hosted the Champs Pregame Tailgate Party Flyball Tournament along with our friends on RUSH Flyball Club! We ran our 3 teams and had multiple singles races & preflight.
BING BANG & BOOM got a lot of good racing in to prepare for Champs. We ran multiple lineups, scenarios, re-runs and had some dogs running for several different handlers.
Dogs of the weekend go to Confetti & Paisley! Confetti ran full time in anchor on BOOM, took passes from several different dogs, and ran some speedy times with very few errors! 🎊 Paisley carried the BING team both days, running very consistently and taking tight passes! 🎉
Some other highlights of the weekend include Prim with a new best time of 3.59 on the clock, Mamba with a new best time of 3.54 on the clock, Abraxos with a new best time of 3.55 on the clock, Salsa with a new best time of 3.69 on the clock, Eggie made some awesome progress in the lanes, Bella had her team debut on BING & Cherry had her singles debut with a best time of 3.60 on the clock.
On Saturday we welcomed Jake, Alliyah and their Aussie, Chanel, to the BreakThrough team! Chanel has been doing great in singles and will be training for pairs soon.
We also ended the day Saturday with some Human Flyball racing and we passed on the trophy to the winners! Congratulations Prime Time Flyball!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in St. Louis next month! Champs 2025 here we come! 🖤🩷

Last weekend we said goodbye to the Houn’ House practice building. We were very blessed to have a consistent practice facility for so many years.
Today we start a new chapter at K-9 Culture Dog Training DFW. We couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to train at this amazing facility!

The Summer Sizzler tournament was a blast! 🔥 Thank you to Prime Time Flyball for hosting! It was a very well-run tournament with awesome awards & a great raffle! BT won several big raffle prizes!
At the tournament we welcomed our newest BT member Kelly and his border collie, Bella who made her debut over the weekend.
We ran 3 teams- BING 💥 BANG 💥 BOOM 💥, a pairs team & multiple singles. Cherry & BB8 also had some very successful preflights.
With a few dogs out this month, it allowed this tournament to be a good opportunity for our young racers to be in the lanes.
Dogs of the weekend go to all of our debut dogs! Mamba, Prim & Bella all had their singles debuts. Mamba won fastest singles of the weekend putting a 3.59 on the clock (3.54 L2L)! Salsa made her pairs debut running in start with Flare and team debut running in start on BING. Saber made her A-team debut running in start putting up some speedy times! Confetti also made her A-team debut and ran her little heart out with the BOOM dogs. She ran both in anchor and start over the weekend, setting the jumps back down to 9”! 🎊
Some other highlights of the weekend included a perfect start for Doreen & Pizza, new best time for Sascha running in start on BING with a 4.28 L2L, and our height dog pug, Manon, (who ran full time on BING over the weekend) ran a new best time of 4.89 L2L. Great job, team!!

Over the weekend we co-hosted the first Anchor Tournament in Texas along with our friends Hyper Flight Flyball Club & Top Dog Racers! ⚓️ It was a huge success! We had teams travel in from Arizona, Nebraska, Alaska & Canada to race in our region. The awesome competition and seeing so many friendly faces made it such a special event. The atmosphere was like a mini-champs!
Some of the most memorable things about the tournament were a great raffle organized by Teresa & Sylvia, welcome Cookie Cakes for each team made by Bethany, a U-Fli sponsored pizza party after racing, and a thrilling Box Loader challenge! Congratulations to Veni on winning 1st place!
We ran 3 full BT teams for the first time and also had our first BT Variety team! Several of our dogs had no errors all weekend. We love seeing our dogs progressing so well. Our Variety lineup included a Doberman Pinscher, Whippet, Cocker Spaniel, & Border Collies!
Dogs of the weekend go to our new height dogs Confetti & Manon who both made their team debuts! Way to go speedy girls! 🎉
Last but not least, we want to wish all of the members of Special Fources Flyball Club the best! Thank you for running pick up teams with us in the past and helping us in the lanes at times when we were short handed. We love y’all!

Thanks to OddBallz Flyball Club for hosting the Oddstock Flyball tournament this past weekend!
We ran 3 teams: BOOM, BANG & BING (huge thank you to our HF friends, we love running pickup with y’all!)
We had multiple dogs that didn’t make an error all weekend which is awesome to see! BANG & BING had a lot of lineup changes. June “pulled a Riven” & came out of retirement for the weekend since we were short on dogs. Saber ran several 3.5s in start on BANG! Paisley saved the day on Sunday and ended up running anchor on BING!
Our club preflight puppies did great, all of them are making awesome progress!
Dogs of the weekend go to Confetti, Eggie & Salsa who made their singles debuts! 🎊 They all did so well in the lanes and we are excited to work them towards running on teams soon!
Next month we will be co-hosting the Margarita Mania anchor tournament along with our friends Hyper Flight Flyball Club and Top Dog Racers! We can’t wait! Safe travels to everyone!

Thanks to Full Speed Ahead Flyball Team for hosting the Slumber Party Flyball Tournament over the weekend! It was a fun weekend running around in our pjs!
At the tournament we ran our teams BOOM & BANG as well as Pairs, Singles, Preflight & our first Club Preflight.
Our BOOM dogs ran really well and put up several 14.6 times.
Boots ran another new best singles time of 4.430! Our English Cocker Spaniel is on fire! 🔥
All of our preflight dogs made a lot of progress! We are excited to get our green dogs in the racing lanes soon!
Dog of the weekend goes to Rally! She ran start in Pairs with Paisley and also ran anchor on BANG! She made a lot of progress getting used to passing other dogs and ran a new best clock time of 3.584! 🤩 Way to go Rally & Levi!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the lanes again next month!
