There are dogs that set themselves apart, and this dog is one such exceptional animal. Paris PD's retired K9 Cupa is currently savoring a well-deserved retirement alongside his handler. This dog's demeanor was multifaceted; he was an absolute powerhouse when necessary and a gentle giant with family. It is worth noting that he was not a Saber dog, having served prior to the inception of Saber, although we invested considerable time in training during maintenance training.

K9 Marshall is a good boy! It was an honor to name him in memory of a fallen friend, Georgia Deputy Lena Marshall. Rest easy my friend.

It’s with great sadness that I inform you all that the Chief passed away a short time ago while surrounded by his loving family. We lost another good one but know he’s rejoicing with Jesus and will forever be pain free.
Please continue to pray for his family while they get through the grieving and funeral process.
