Thank you Variety - the Children's Charity of Iowa for supporting our programs to improve the lives of children with special needs. In addition to an Inky Dinky saddle which promotes rider independence, we now have additional adaptive equipment and safety enhancements to benefit horse, rider and volunteers. We have been so pleased with our partnership with Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy and their occupational therapists. We have worked with Claire Schaefer and now Tessa Kleinwolterink who are remarkable therapists providing life skills, coping tools, self-regulation and reflex integration which improves balance, coordination, focus, and reading and writing skills. Listen in as Claire explains how occupational therapy utilizing the movement of the horse improves lives.
