Rudy is an undiscovered treasure. I’m not sure why not one person has given him a chance. Is he not flashy enough? Not squatty enough? He’s not a fancy designer dog, but he’s dang near as perfect as you will get.

Leslie and Dave were kind enough to give him another reprieve from rescue life and we are so grateful for that! He will be in foster for the next week or so and we would LOVE to get him in a foster to adopt, or long term foster so that he doesn’t have to return to the kennels.

Rudy plays well with other dogs, has impeccable house manners, and oh so much love to give. Please share our boy and help us get him a home of his own. Our application to foster or adopt can be found at www.forpittiessakerescue.org

Our incredibly resilient, senior girl, Fajita is poised to thrive with a foster or adopter. She's a true fighter, having overcome not one, but two mammary mass removals and rebounded with remarkable strength. She's on a prescription diet, which keeps her skin healthy and comfortable. Fajita interacts with the other dogs, but can be a bit of a leader, so a dog with some patience would be ideal. Olive and Dobby were both adopted as puppies and due to life changes, were returned in July
2024. Olive is now 3 years old, Dobby is 3.5 years old. We thought it was a temporary return, but it's not looking that way. They grew up in a home and deserve to be back in one. They do not need to be adopted together, but certainly could be. Olive is currently on medication for her anxiety and could likely come off of that after settling into a home with routine and structure.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, what you are and your pups doing this weekend?! If you are still looking for someone sweet to hang out with on summer days,, we have wonderful dogs always looking for for their forever familes, like our girl Kiwi!!

We would love to pull this sweet boy, but we need a foster! Anyone up for the high stepper?

The Grinch is hanging out at Pet Supplies Plus - Elizabeth City, NC waiting to see all the naughty and nice pets for photos! We will be here until four today and again tomorrow from 1 to 4. 🎄

Sweet baby Olive is exercising, trying to get her front legs strong and straight! Upon arrival she showed signs of lack of proper nutrition, such as: poor coat and flaky skin, her toenails were solid white instead of being clear, and her front legs were noticeably crooked and bowed out. We started her on a vitamin supplement, high quality food, monthly preventatives, and gave her vaccines. She is a happy, good natured, laid back puppy! She plays well with the other dogs, but can also entertain herself😂 If you are interested in Olive, our application can be found at www.forpittiesssakerescue.org🐾
