💚We are super excited to partner with R.O.W. 💚(Rescuing Ocala Wildlife) and Crystal River locals, writer and illustrator, Casey & Tiffany Fredette in their journey to help raise funds from the soon coming Melanie the Gopher Tortoise Storybook & Row coloring book!!!

Melanie, is a Gopher Tortoise, taken from the wild as a tiny hatchling and kept illegally as a pet for more than 15 years. Melanie endured improper care, poor nutrition, and severe metabolic bone disease that permanently changed her shell and body.

Now her journey from suffering to second chances is being transformed into a heartwarming children’s story to teach compassion, wildlife conservation, and the importance of protecting animals in their natural homes. 🐢
