Whiskers of Winfield is a non profit 501(C)(3) charitable organization of volunteers dedicated to reducing the feral/stray cat population in the Winfield community. We are a group of local residents joining forces to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) cats in the local area. In this effort, we will come across kittens, adoptable adult cats and house cats that have been abandoned. Through volunteer fosters, we will attempt to place domesticated cats and kittens into forever homes.

Our foster homes are full, and turning away kittens every single day has been heartbreaking. But when five tiny black kittens came to us in awful shape, we couldn’t say no. One didn’t make it 💔 but four are still fighting.

They’re weak and fragile, but they have a chance if we can get them the care they need.

Do we have room? No.
Do we have funds? Barely.
Do they deserve a chance? Absolutely.

Hello everyone. My name is Princess Helen Grey of Harbor Park. (My mom is part of WOW, so I wanted to introduce myself) About 2 months ago, I was left alone & scared. I am blind and I don't know if my fur momma knew what to do with me. No one saw me or heard me, until this lady came home. I started meowing really loud. She meowed back to me and put her hand out. (I don't know how she can "meow" ? She's a human!) I jumped into her hand. She brought me inside the house, fed me, held me, rocked me to sleep and I was safe. I have other kitty brothers & sisters, a large doggy sister and a turtle brother. They are all so nice to me, even when I bite them or chew on them. My brother Pete thinks he's my mom and cleans me, plays toys with me & teaches me how to be a cat. I'm going to have to get eye surgery soon. But, I'm not scared. I get around pretty good for not being able to see. I can climb stairs, play toys, attack my mom's feet and give kisses. I am a very lucky girl. I wouldn't have made it out there, all by myself.
