We help the animals in our care by reuniting them with their owners or we find them loving forever homes.

🐾❤️ NATIONAL ANIMAL SHELTER & RESCUE APPRECIATION WEEK! ❤️🐾

November 1–7 is a special week dedicated to recognizing the incredible people who work tirelessly to give animals a second chance at life. 🐶🐱

At Scruffy Tails Humane Society, every rescued animal, every successful adoption, and every happy ending is made possible by the dedication and compassion of some truly amazing people.

💚 To the shelter staff: Thank you for the long days, endless cleaning, feeding, medical care, and all the love you give to animals who need it most. Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it never goes unnoticed.

🐾 To the volunteers: Thank you for giving your time, energy, and hearts to help make the shelter a better place. Every walk, cuddle, cleaning session, and helping hand makes a difference.

❤️ To the foster families: Thank you for opening your homes to animals who need extra love, patience, and care. You help create second chances when they’re needed most.

💚 To the board members and community supporters: Thank you for helping keep the shelter moving forward, supporting its mission, and believing in brighter futures for animals in need.

Animal rescue isn’t always easy. There are difficult days, heartbreaking moments, and challenges that can feel overwhelming. But there are also wagging tails, happy purrs, healing animals, and the incredible joy of watching a once-homeless pet find a forever family. 🏡❤️

This week, Scruffy Tails celebrates everyone who makes those moments possible.

These kittens were brought in to us by the Crookston Police Department.
The two were found on Old Hwy 75 and the other one was found near Riverview.

If you recognize any of them or know who they belongs to, please contact the CPD as soon as possible so we can get them back home!

🚨 Lost & Found Dog🚨

This dog was brought in to us by the Crookston Police Department.
He was found on Stewart Ave yesterday afternoon. Wearing a collar, no microchip.
