It is now official. The Crookston Winter Shows Arena, formally Red River Valley Shows is now privately owned by Ag Storage LLC.

As fun as it has been to hear all the rumors over the last 6 months or so, I always have enjoyed the stories from the old show days. People stop in randomly with a story about some fun event they saw or partisipated in every year back in the day. The arena will never be able to return to its glory days, however the historic building will continue to stand.

We have a ton of work to do to make the facility last a little longer, some buildings do need to come down, many repairs need to be done, as well as plans for construction. This will allow the north side to be rented out as well as continued to use for equine events and open rides.

Community support for the building has been pretty darn awesome. Our plans will do nothing but make the building better, cleaned up, and more useful. This will take a little time so please be patient, unlike me, a kid in a candy store with all my ideas.
