Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is looking for volunteers for the following roles

Volunteer transport coordinator. Help animals on their freedom ride or get animals the medical help they need.
Join our admin team and help us coordinate non urgent transports like releases, long distance transports and transfers. This doesnt involve the hotline.

Transport Coordinator in animal rescue is responsible for organizing and overseeing the safe and efficient movement of animals between locations, often involving shelters, foster homes, and adoptive families. They handle logistics like scheduling, route planning, while also collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of an Animal Rescue Transport Coordinator:
Scheduling and Logistics:
Determining the timing, number, and types of animals being transported, and coordinating with sending and receiving partners.
Communication:
Maintaining clear and timely communication between all parties involved, including shelters, rescue groups, foster parents, and veterinary staff.
Emergency Preparedness:
Developing and implementing plans for handling unexpected situations or emergencies during transport.

We are looking for volunteers interested in being trained to work in the clinic at least 2 hours a week and preform the following tasks.
Running fecals on patient innthe clinic.
Doing bloodwork
Completing weight checks
Water therapy for patients.
Physical therapy
Laser therapy
Change outs and general cleaning.
Position requires a minimum 2 hour commitment each week or 4 hours every other week.
