***To keep your baby on a regular grooming schedule we offer a rotation schedule. You can set your appointments out as far as you would like we recommend every 6 to 8 weeks for haircuts.***

When I talk to my customers' precious fur babies I always refer to myself as "Ms. I spend time with each one to try and get a better understanding of them, giving love, attention, affection, and positive reinforcement. I want them to associate "Ms. Maria" with a good experience and a place that they want to come to. For them to understand that when their owner says "Ms. Maria", they get excited to come and see me. When I get to see your fur baby walk through my doors and they are excited to see me.... there really is no words to describe how much I love that. It makes what I do not my job, but my passion. ***Groomers Only: You are prohibited to groom anywhere in the Crawfordville Florida area for at least 2 years after leaving Ms Maria’s Grooming regardless of if you are not employed at Ms Maria’s Grooming any longer. Groomers Only: Ms Maria offers a 2-year minimum apprenticeship with herself and other employees. Bring any cuts or health concerns to Ms Maria’s attention (if so, provide pictures). Your music playlist is welcomed but any profanity will not be tolerated. You will be given 2 write-ups and on the third you will be automatically terminated. Treat all animals as if they are your own. Refrain from hollering or using any aggressive behavior towards any fur baby. You are more than welcome to take pictures but Ms Maria needs to approve before posting or sharing with ANYONE! Take care of all equipment as if it were your own. Ms Maria is providing you the tools to do the job which are supplied by the business. Maintenance and upkeep are very important on the equipment. Stealing is prohibited and anyone who does will be automatically terminated. Bring any communication concerns to Ms Maria as soon as you see a problem. I give Ms Maria my permission to use photographs or videos of myself etc. I understand that working at Ms Maria’s Grooming LLC I may gain access to information about its customers or staff that is confidential. I agree to maintain confidentially and reuse discloser of any information that is not public information. Parking your vehicle around the left of the building is building owners requirements of employment. You must be respectful to yourself as well as Ms Maria’s Grooming LLC as we post and share on social media. Ms Maria needs you to understand your behavior and comments and posts are being seen by customers and our friends. Therefore, you must get approval from Ms Maria to post any pictures or videos of client’s pets. Owners must give permission before posting on Facebook or sharing of any pets on or in any social media. Here at Ms Maria’s Grooming LLC, it is a drug free workplace. Ms Maria has the right to do random drug testing and of result being reserved positive at any time you will be terminated. Here at Ms Maria’s Grooming LLC you are responsible for your ability to perform a multitude of tasks and care for the wellbeing of all fur babies and in doing so you are responsible for maintaining a healthy place for our customers and employees. Your appointment time is a drop off time. Since we have multiple pets dropped off throughout the day, you must have flexible pick-up time. To help serve you better and to provide the best possible care for your pet(s), please read the following information carefully. We would like to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet’s grooming experience as safe and pleasant as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. At Ms. Maria's Grooming, we want your pet(s) to be happy to come here. Please help us keep all pet(s) comfortable by refraining from loud voices or noises. Please do not call your pet’s name as this is an open layout and calling your pet’s name gets all pet(s) in the establishment worked up. This makes it harder to groom the pet(s) we may be working on at the time. Every action at Ms. Maria's Grooming is for the benefit of your pet(s). She ensures that her staff is attentive for the safety, health, and welfare of all pet(s) that come through our doors. For your safety, we cannot let you pass our front gate and for this reason, we do not have a public restroom. Please walk your pet(s) so they can go to the bathroom before leaving them with us. There is an area in the back for their potty needs. Accidents and Emergency Medical Veterinarian Authorization Release Agreement:
Accidents are very rare, however, there is a risk when dealing with pet(s). Grooming equipment is sharp and although we use extreme caution, possible problems could occur including but not limited to cuts, scratches, and quicking of nails. This often happens when the pet(s) are moving or wiggling around. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified immediately. Maria’s Grooming LLC will do its best to contact the owner/guardian. If you find an injury that Ms. Maria’s Grooming, LLC could have caused that needs medical attention, we require that you notify us within 24 hours after your appointment, or we are not liable for any expenses. We ask that you do not bring any new food/treats for your pet while they are in our care, as it tends to upset their stomach. Current Vaccinations: By law, your pet(s) must be up to date on Rabies vaccination before entering Ms. Maria’s Grooming, LLC. You are responsible for vaccinating your pet(s) to prevent any unwanted illnesses. We highly recommend all other vaccinations; however, it is not required for the services received at Ms Maria’s Grooming, LLC, but as safety for your pet(s) and staff. Ms Maria’s Grooming, LLC will not be held liable for any sickness that your pet(s) contract while in our care. Health or Medical Problems: On occasion, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one, possibly resulting in death. This can occur during or after grooming. All medical expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet’s owner upon signing this agreement. Interruptions During Grooming Services: For the safety of your pet, as well as the professional groomer, we ask that you do not interrupt during the grooming process. Every effort will be made to ensure your pet is groomed as safely as possible. We do not like to rush the process of grooming for this can cause the pet(s) to become excited or stressed. For the safety of the pet(s), we must let them set the pace. After dropping your pet off, please do not stop back in the shop until you have received a phone call from us stating your pet is ready for pick up. If you have any questions after dropping off, please feel free to contact us at any time. Dangerous or Aggressive Pet(s) – Right to Refuse Service: Ms. Maria’s Grooming, LLC, has the right to refuse any services at any time. In some cases, we might have to muzzle the pet to continue the grooming process. A muzzle does not harm your pet but protects both the pet and the groomer or employee. We do not muzzle unless your pet gives us a reason to do so. Other methods (talking to or having an employee hold etc.) are used to calm your pet prior to muzzling. If you feel that you need to hold your pet for any services, we will refer you to a vet’s office. If the pet(s) becomes stressed or dangerous to groom or perform other services, Ms. Maria’s Grooming, LLC has the right to refuse, stop, or cancel grooming services at any point and the client will be charged grooming fees for the services rendered. Services:
Fleas: If your pet has fleas, it will be given a Capstar at your expense of $5.00 ( depending on the size of the dog. )
Matting/Undercoats: Matted coats and excessive undercoats cause a variety of health problems. Matted fur does not allow for the air to circulate to the skin, causing hot spots, bacterial and fungal infections. Fleas, ticks, and other parasites may be lurking in the coat causing further skin infections. Matted fur also pulls and binds causing pain to your pet when they move or lay as the skin underneath may be raw or inflamed. We cannot brush out a coat that is severely matted due to the stress and pain it will cause your pet. Therefore, severely matted coats will require a short clip. There is a chance that your pet’s skin will become more irritated during this grooming process, and he/she may be nicked or cut because of the proximity to the skin. We use extreme caution when doing this, but the possibility of an injury is there, and you need to be made aware of this. When grooming (cutting) hair, your pet’s hair might not come back the same in texture, color, or thickness. This includes but not limited to such pets (Huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians etc.) Ms Maria’s Grooming, LLC and her staff will not be held liable for such an occurrence. Elderly Dogs: Often when a dog becomes a senior, they will become harder to perform our services on them. The grooming process becomes more dangerous as the dog becomes more prone to medical conditions, sometimes causing the dog to become jumpy and/or aggressive. This may require frequent breaks, which can extend the grooming process. If we determine that continuing the grooming process will become unsafe for your pet and/or the staff, then we will refer you to a veterinarian for future grooming services. Assisted Grooming: Your groomer may require extra help during the grooming process. This could be because your pet is senior, is hyper, has anxiety, or is biting, etc. We would have someone else hold your pet in their arms, and/or someone talk to your pet to give reassurance. Depending on the time it takes to finish the grooming, we may charge a $5-$10 assisted grooming fee. Housing: Ms. Maria’s Grooming, LLC, will not allow pet(s) from two different households to be placed together. This will only be permitted if one owner of multiple pets would like their pet(s) to share the same housing . Maria’s Grooming, LLC, will not be held accountable for any issues that may arise between the pet(s). We are not a cage free environment; however, we do have multiple types of kennels. We will move your dog around according to which kennels best fit their desire. Your pets will not be put together unless you state at drop off that you want them in the same housing. Our hours of operation are as follows. For your convenience, we offer early drop off at 7 am and pick up as late as 6 pm (Tuesday - Friday). Saturday hours are 12-7 . We Close when the last pet goes home. We call as your pet(s) are ready. Remember, you must be flexible with the pick-up time of your pet. We are happy to work with you as much as possible, but repeated calls and showing up to check the readiness of your pet(s) only causes further delay. Your pet(s) get excited about your presence, which gives them the misunderstanding that they are going home. ASAP Grooms fee $10 added to your pet groom price. (Small Dogs)
We only do two ASAP grooms a day by appointment only (2 Hours & Small Dogs only). Assisted Grooming $5-$10 (If your pet requires more help during the grooming process.) No show/No call groom fee $10
Capstar (If your pet has fleas) $5. A mandatory $10 late fee will be applied to your bill for each pet picked up after 6pm. You must pick your pet up by 6:15 PM or we will keep your pet overnight at your expense: $25 per pet. We are not liable for any lost or damaged items. We have the right to refuse service. Liability: I will not hold any of Ms Maria’s Grooming, LLC employees liable for any scratches, bites, or any other injury I obtain from my pet(s) while holding my pet(s) while an employee of Ms Maria’s Grooming, LLC performs any service on my pet(s). I have reviewed this service agreement for accuracy and understand the contents of this agreement. I affirm that I am the rightful legal owner of the pet(s) for which services are being rendered. I understand that pricing is subject to change. This agreement is valid for all pets that I currently own or will own in the future. I have read, signed, and agreed to the above. Payment is due at the time of pickup. We accept credit/debit cards, cash, and checks. There will be a $35 fee for bounced checks plus original payment.
