We have some exciting news to share!
We are starting an after hours teletriage service! This service will provide after hours support to our current clients and patients. We will help answer all of those late night questions of whether your fur baby need to go to the ER, have a visit with our on call veterinarian or if it can wait until the morning for a normal appointment. There will be a fee associated with this service that will be discussed with the caller. This service will be provided Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays from 7pm-7am to start with and then expand as we see the need! We look forward to providing this service for you.
We will start this service this coming Monday!!!

Each year some of our staff members travel down to the VMX. The VMX is a wonderful place to learn the most updated and new information for veterinary medicine. We do this so that we can provide this information back to you and to help your fur babies. VMX day 1!

Due to the very strong possibility of winter weather in our area, we have made the decision to close during the storm to keep our staff and patients safe.

Happy New Year from everyone at Oglethorpe Animal Clinic! 🎇

We will be closing early on Tuesday, December 31st at 12:30 noon and will be closed all day on Wednesday, January 1st. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday.

Merry Christmas Eve!
We got news that the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and the USDA has cleared Santa's reindeer for flight tonight. While you maybe worried about their long journey be reassured that veterinarians all over the world are on stand by for any medical needs. We are happy to announce that once again we are on standby for Oglethorpe County to help with anything Santa or his reindeer may need.
For kids who want to help the reindeer on their journey, the AVMA recommends leaving a plate of graham cracker reindeer cookies, their favorite snack, for Santa to feed them between stops.
We hope Santa and his reindeer leave everything you and yours have wished for!
