Heavenly and Almighty Father, O God of heaven and earth, You, who have power and dominion over the entire world, who can calm the storm with just a whisper, who fights for your children. You are my mighty fortress and shelter from the storm. Lord, you know my needs, my heartbreaks, my trials. I pray for you to take up the fight for me, to carry these burdens, and give me rest in you. For I cannot solve these on my own. I don’t know what else to do but fix my eyes on you. Lord, I will trust in you. I release all these burdens to your far more capable hands. All this I pray through your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer For Joy in God's Creation
O God, the creator and preserver of all mankind, we humbly beseech thee for all sorts and conditions of men; that thou wouldest be pleased to make thy ways known unto them, thy saving health unto all nations.
More especially we pray for thy holy Church universal; that it may be so guided and governed by thy good Spirit, that all who profess and call themselves Christians may be led into the way of truth, and hold the faith in the unity of spirit, in the bond of peace, and in the righteousness of life.

Finally, we commend to thy fatherly goodness all those who are in any ways afflicted or distressed, in mind, body, or estate; [especially those for whom our prayers are desired];
That it may please thee to comfort and relieve them according to their several necessities, giving them patience under their sufferings, and a happy issue out of all their afflictions.
And this we beg for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

This prayer reminds us that we are all connected under God's care. It asks for His grace to be with people from all walks of life and for His healing presence to comfort those who are suffering in body, mind, or spirit. It also calls for unity within the church, that all who follow Christ may live in peace and righteousness. Ultimately, it is a prayer for mercy, love, and guidance for the entire world.

There are many people, who will say they're Christians
And they live like Christians on the Sabbath day
But come Monday morning, till the coming Sunday
They will fight their neighbor all along the way
Oh you don't love God

If you gossip about him, if you never have mercy
If he gets into trouble, and you don't try to help him

In the holy Bible, in the book of Matthew
Read the 18th chapter in the 21st verse
Jesus plainly tells us that we must have mercy
There's a special warning in the 35th verse

Oh you don't love God

If he gets into trouble, and you don't try to help him
Then you don't love your neighbor

There's a God Almighty, and you've got to love him
If you want salvation and a home on high
If you say you love him while you hate your neighbor
Then you don't have religion, you just told a lie

Forgive Us Our Trespasses - a prayer of confession & repentance

Most merciful and loving Father, my Lord in heaven, forgive me for my sins. I am human and sinful and I don’t always walk in your way. Lord, forgive me for my actions and for the resulting consequences of my sin. Grant me your grace and mercy help me to make a fresh start as I confess these sins. Show me where I’ve fallen short, both in things I’ve done and things I’ve left undone, and then help me to make a change to do better. Show me your way and help me to walk in it. O Lord, forgive me my sins. Amen.

1 John 1:8-10
