Sweet Piranha is struggling in the shelter, but she truly blossoms in a loving home. Her current foster family has helped her come out of her shell, but they’ll be out of town and she needs a safe, temporary place to stay.

If you can open your heart and home to Piranha, even just for a little while, you’ll be giving her the comfort and security she desperately needs. 💕

Sweet Piranha has been living her best life in foster care — learning that the world is full of treats, snuggles, and car rides. But on August 25th, she’s coming back to the shelter… and the kennel is a tough place for her tender heart.

Before finding her current foster, Piranha was a shut-down, shy young pup who didn’t know how to relax or trust. In a loving home, she’s blossomed into a silly, affectionate dog with a growing list of “firsts” — from pup cups to tail-wagging joyrides.

We can’t let all that progress slip away. She needs another safe, calm home to keep building on her confidence and happiness.

💔 Yesterday’s rainfall nearly flooded our dog kennels and was a heartbreaking reminder of why we need a new shelter NOW.

We already have 12 donated acres down the street and the plans drawn for a safe, modern facility. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised $5,000,000, but we can’t break ground until we reach $10,000,000.
