Zion needs your help. 💙

Earlier this year, this sweet puppy came to us suffering from partial hind limb paralysis after being attacked by another dog. He was in pain, unable to walk normally, and desperately needed help.

Today, thanks to his surgery and the incredible team at Resurge Veterinary Specialists, Zion is making amazing progress. He's regaining movement, building strength, and working hard in his daily therapy sessions.

But his recovery is far from over.

Physical therapy, rehabilitation, and ongoing treatments are adding up quickly, and we could use your help covering the cost of his care.

The Many Faces of Butterbean 🧡

Getting a good picture of Butterbean is a lot like trying to take a family photo of a toddler after three cupcakes and a Mountain Dew.

This 9-month-old orange cat has exactly two brain cells, and neither one has any interest in helping with his adoption photos.

The moment the camera comes out, Butterbean is suddenly distracted by a dust particle, a sound three rooms away, his own tail, or absolutely nothing at all. We took about 500 photos and somehow every single one perfectly captures the chaos.

Just one month ago, Frankie was found on the streets of Franklinton suffering from a severe case of Demodex , painful skin wounds, and heartworm disease. Today, thanks to the care of our veterinary team and the love of her foster family, she's thriving!

This sweet girl is gaining weight, healing beautifully, and showing everyone just how wonderful she is. Frankie loves everyone she meets and gets along great with kids, dogs, and even cats.

Her fur is growing back, her tail is wagging, and she's finally getting to enjoy life as a happy puppy.

Groot first entered our adoption program back in 2016 and, after a few adoptions and returns over the years, spent much of his life waiting for stability.

Since July of last year, this handsome 10-year-old has been thriving in an amazing foster home. While seeing that snoot turn gray isn't always easy, we absolutely love seeing Groot enjoy the comfort, love, and peace he deserves outside of the shelter.

Thank you to his wonderful foster family for giving this sweet senior boy a place to call home. ❤️

This precious puppy was abandoned and tied to the stair railing outside of our admin building. We truly cannot understand how someone could leave such a sweet, affectionate, and lovable girl behind!!

We named her Lotty Dotty and despite everything, she hasn’t let this situation dim her spirit ⭐️ Lotty is full of love, excitement, and puppy joy. She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart, eager to learn, eager to trust, and eager to find someone who will never leave her behind again ❤️

At just eight months old, Lotty still has her whole life ahead of her. She would make an incredible addition to a family looking for a loyal best friend, adventure buddy, and constant source of unconditional love.
