National Walk Your Dog Week is October 1-7!

Walking your dog has been proven to have positive effects on the physical and mental health of both pets and their owners, such as reducing the risk of obesity related illnesses like arthritis, diabetes, and kidney and heart disease.

Bored, unstimulated dogs are more prone to anxiety, aggression, and stress-driven behaviors such as destructive chewing, excessive barking, and soiling/marking indoors. A 30 minute walk a day can make a big difference!
