We don't usually go right back to a restaurant after doing a review but we heard that the The Toasted Yolk Cafe had launched a pup menu, and since Darcy had a few dollars in her OnlyPaws we headed out for Sunday brunch.

Now Taylor, bless her heart, isn't a breakfast person. I am, I could eat it for lunch and dinner. She really enjoyed it and said she would love to come back! Not only is the service wonderful but the whole vibe is just really laid back and enjoyable. Huge patio and with the weather being a little more pleasant it made for a wonderful experience.

The pup menu is AWESOME. Next time we will try the parfait, but today we tried the Belly Rub Bowl. Darcy gives it 4 paws up!

St Francis Animal Sanctuary & Rescue invites you to the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi Blessing of the Animals! Join us at our St. Francis Animal Sanctuary Thrift Store & Kitty Haven in Mandeville on Saturday, October 4th at 10AM as Bonnie Poirier leads the blessings.

The day will include in-person pet blessings, a blessing for our resident animals, a heartfelt pet memorial, and a peaceful meditation. Come celebrate the love and joy our animals bring. All are welcome!

Edward the Jungle Chicken would have been 23 today. Without her we wouldn't have even started Pet Friendly Northshore. She loved going to The Beachouse and having a margarita and chicken wings. Or to LaLou for breakfast and scrambled eggs. She would hang out at The Barley Oak and dance to Lakefront sunsets. And snowballs! She loved a snowball and would stain her beak red and get a sugar rush. I wish you all would have had a chance to know her better, but oh the memories we made! Most of them are R rated 😅.
