Today marks the first harvest, a time to pause and give thanks for the abundance around us. Lammas is an old tradition celebrating the grain harvest, the turning of the seasons, and the simple blessings that fill our days — the food on our tables, the beauty of nature, and the warmth of home.

Another amazing annual birthday outing to D&B with the family. Because Caspian and Bryce’s birthdays are so close we usually just go to Dave and Busters between the two to celebrate and this year didn’t disappoint. We finally found one that had the human crane machine and of course the boys had to do it. Alex, Bryce, and Caspian did well. Look for the videos to follow this post 😂. Shout out too to our big kids that worked late last night and then made the 5.5 hour drive to MI to go with us today. We love you guys and we are so glad you made it and we all got to visit. We miss you guys so much! Happy Birthday Bryce and Caspian!

Happy 7th Birthday to our sweet boy, Caspian David! 🎉💙

I can’t believe my little guy is 7 years old today. It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms, and now you’re growing into such an amazing little person.

You keep us laughing every single day with your funny personality and the way you always say exactly what’s on your mind. We truly never know what is going to come out of your mouth next, and you keep all of us on our toes! Your curiosity, honesty, and big imagination make you so incredibly special.

You are one of the smartest little boys I know, and I have no doubt that if anyone can make their dreams come true, it’s you. You dream of becoming an astronaut, and I know that one day you’ll be reaching for the stars. Who knows? Maybe you really will be the one to walk on the moon.

We wouldn’t change a single thing about you. You bring so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives every day.
