Farmer Bryce Nehas and Sonoma County compost expert Britta Baskerville will cover composting basics, different composting styles, container options, and common mistakes to avoid — whether you’re just getting started or looking to improve your system.

🌿 Spring Healing Garden Workshop is back!

Join herbalist Audrey Watts and Farmer Bryce for one of our most popular workshops of the year. Explore the healing properties of herbs through tasting, scent identification, and hands-on plant propagation.

We’ll work with a mix of cultivated and wild herbs—including familiar plants like rosemary and thyme, as well as wild varieties like fennel, nettle, and plantain—while learning how to use them for culinary, medicinal, and practical purposes.

Take home herb cuttings from the food forest and a tea strainer to start using what you learn right away! ☕️

Not all creepy crawlies in the garden are pests. In fact, many of them are actually helping your plants thrive. 🐞

Join us at Veronda-Falletti Ranch for an introduction to Integrated Pest Management and learn how to tell the difference between the critters that harm your garden and the ones that help protect it. From insects and mollusks to birds and mammals, we’ll cover the common garden visitors found here in the North Bay.

This workshop is half instruction and half hands-on learning, where you’ll build observation skills, learn identification tips, and discover practical ways to manage garden pests naturally.

Perfect for gardeners of all levels. Tweens and up are welcome!
