Our hedge row is now home to three monarch caterpillars! 🐛
Our hedge row was planted with entirely California native plants including Asclepias or commonly called “milkweed”. Asclepias is the only plant monarchs will lay their eggs on and it is exclusively the monarch caterpillars food source. Monarch populations depend on this plant for survival and we are so happy three caterpillars get to call our hedge row home!❤️
