Drying before finishing oil. TIP after the submergible tan and letting the hide dry till hard wash it to get some of the powder out of the fur and then throw it in the washing machine and it will make it almost ready for the oil.

That means less waiting till you can apply oil and it will also dry the fur out some

Fixating tan to skin a very important step in the tanning process especially when you are using a submergible tan. I will get the PH to a 4.5 / 5.0 then remove from tan, dry then wash then apply a finish oil. They are almost done 😅
