Though we're closed today in observance of Juneteenth, Biscuit wanted to remind everyone that he is still available for adoption and eager to meet his new family! 🥐

This four-month-old terrier mix is a total extrovert who approaches every day at full speed. Biscuit loves to play with his sister, his toys, or his people. He's happy, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure. When playtime is over, he's more than happy to soak up attention and affection, too. 🍩

And don't forget about Muffin! 🧁 If you're looking for a slightly more reserved version of Biscuit, his sweet sister is available as well.

We'll be closed through Monday and reopen on Tuesday, so stop by during opening hours to meet these adorable bakery items and submit an application. We promise they're fresh, sweet, and ready to go home! 🥖

What do you get when you mix a tabby and a Siamese cat? The Guardians of the Galaxy, of course! 🌟

Meet Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot, four adorable siblings who are now available for adoption! These kittens are almost 3 months old and have all the qualities you'd expect from a litter of playful youngsters: sweet, cuddly, curious, and just the right amount of crazy.

Whether they're chasing each other around the room, wrestling with toys, or curling up for some well-earned cuddles, these little heroes know how to keep life entertaining. They love attention, pets, and plenty of head scritches.

Stop by during our opening hours to meet these purrfect protectors of the galaxy and put in an application! They do not have to be adopted together.

The bakery is surprisingly still open, because both Muffin and Biscuit are still available for adoption!

Today we're featuring Miss Muffin, a four-month-old terrier mix with the sweetest personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up and start soaking up all the attention she can get. Once she's comfortable, she's a happy, playful puppy full of curiosity and silly antics.

And when Muffin gets together with her brother? It's nonstop fun. The two love to play, wrestle, and zoom around together. They do not need to be adopted together!

As adorable as she is, Muffin is still very much a puppy. She isn't house-trained yet, she's working through her teething phase, and she's still learning all the important puppy life skills.

Muffin is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Stop by during opening hours to meet her or her brother Biscuit, who is just as adorable, only taller and a bit more outgoing!

As we approach Tuesday's one-year anniversary at the shelter, we looked through her file and found... nothing. No applications. No inquiries.

She's been overlooked so long because Tuesday isn't the type of cat who immediately wins everyone over. She's independent, observant, and can come across as sassy when you first meet her.

But what people don't see is the cat who gets excited when her favorite volunteer visits, meows for attention, and faithfully supervises the shelter from her perch overlooking the lobby. Once Tuesday trusts you, she becomes a loyal companion.

Tuesday is a 6½-year-old spayed female domestic shorthair who would thrive in a calm, quiet home. She enjoys lounging by the window, using her scratcher, batting at sticky notes, and, of course, treats.

No, she won't be your best friend on day one. But with a little patience, she could become your best friend for years to come. Come meet Tuesday and give her the chance no one else has.

Charlotte is a sweet, affectionate girl who is around 3 years old. She’s a purr machine who loves attention and will gently paw at you when she wants more pets. Head scritches are her absolute favorite, and she loves to lounge in her litter box. Charlotte previously lived with another cat and a small dog, so she may do well with other pets. She’s an all-around wonderful companion who is ready to find a loving home, so come meet her! ❤

For National Donut Day, we're celebrating one of the sweetest treats in the shelter: Skipper! This powdered donut of a dog is looking for a place to spend his golden years. ❤

🍩 25-pound neutered male
🍩 14-years-old but acts 5 years younger
🍩 Jack Russell / Beagle / Dachshund / Good Boy mix
🍩 House-trained and likes to get his business done quickly
🍩 Low-maintenance and generally low-energy, though he still gets the occasional burst of energy
🍩 Sweet, cuddly, and happiest when he's spending time with his people

The bakery is temporarily open! Fresh out of the oven and ready for adoption is Muffin, Biscuit, and Cornbread! These three littermates are 15-week-old terrier mixes with adorable wiry coats and petite builds. They currently weigh around 10 pounds and are already spayed/neutered.

Like all puppies, they are sweet, affectionate, curious, playful... and completely unhinged. These little baked goods are not house-trained, leash-trained, or crate-trained. They are teething, and they have absolutely no idea what "no" means. We say this not to deter you, but to remind you that although puppies are cute, they are a handful!

If you're interested in adopting, applications must be completed in person at the shelter. We do not offer same-day adoptions, and submitting an application does not guarantee adoption. You do not need to call or make an appointment to meet them - just come in during opening hours!
