Is your pet constantly scratching, licking, chewing, or rubbing? They may be dealing with allergies or another underlying cause of itchy skin—and they don’t have to be uncomfortable!

Our veterinary team can help determine what’s causing the itch and recommend a treatment plan that fits your pet’s needs. Depending on the cause and your pet’s individual situation, options may include Apoquel® or Cytopoint®, both available through your veterinarian here at Heritage!

Before purchasing flea & tick prevention online or from an unfamiliar seller, take a few minutes to learn how to spot the difference.

🌞July Pet of the Month🏖

Name 📛: Clementine
Breed 🐾: Bearded Dragon
Age🎂: 1 year old
Meet Clementine: She first came to Heritage Veterinary Clinic in May with gastrointestinal issues and decreased energy. She returned for several recheck visits with Dr. Gillette so we could closely monitor her progress and make sure she was heading in the right direction.

With some changes to her habitat and diet, along with a course of antibiotics, Clementine has made great improvements and is now back to her happy, energetic self! 🥰

We are so happy to see Clementine feeling better and thriving again. Thank you to her dedicated family for working with us every step of the way to help her get back to her best! 🦎✨🍊
