Living in Conifer and Evergreen means our dogs train in a world full of wildlife scents, hikers, bikes, squirrels and winds carrying every possible distraction imaginable. That’s why force-free training matters so much out here. Instead of correcting dogs for noticing the environment, we teach them how to safely check in with us and make good choices.

A dog who feels safe learning with you will stay engaged longer than a dog who feels pressured or punished. Start by rewarding every voluntary check-in on walks, even the tiny ones. Those small moments build reliable trail manners over time.
