🚨 Parvovirus – What Every Dog Owner Should Know 🚨

What is Parvovirus?
Parvovirus (Parvo) is a highly contagious and potentially deadly virus that attacks a dog’s gastrointestinal tract, causing severe illness. It spreads through contact with infected dogs, their f***s, or contaminated surfaces.

Common Symptoms:

Severe vomiting 🤮
Bloody or foul-smelling diarrhea 💩
Loss of appetite 🍗🚫
Lethargy or weakness 😴
Fever or low body temperature 🌡️
Why It’s So Dangerous:
Parvo can cause life-threatening dehydration and infection within days. Puppies under 6 months and unvaccinated dogs are at highest risk.

Prevention:
✅ Vaccinate – The parvovirus vaccine is safe and highly effective.
✅ Avoid dog parks or public places until puppies are fully vaccinated.
✅ Clean and disinfect areas where infected dogs have been.

Treatment:
There’s no direct cure, but prompt veterinary care with hospitalization, IV fluids, and supportive treatments can save lives.

🐾 Protect Your Pup from Kennel Cough! 🐾

What is Kennel Cough?
Kennel cough is a highly contagious respiratory illness in dogs that they don't just get when boarding at a kennel, caused by a combination of bacteria and viruses — most commonly Bordetella bronchiseptica. It spreads through airborne droplets, direct contact, or shared items like water bowls and toys.

Common Symptoms:
Persistent, hacking cough (often sounds like honking)
Retching or gagging
Mild fever
Lethargy
Nasal discharge

Why Vaccinate?
💉 The Bordetella vaccine helps protect against the most common cause of kennel cough.
It’s especially important for dogs that:
Visit dog parks 🐕‍🦺
Stay in boarding facilities 🏨
Attend grooming salons ✂️
Participate in training classes 🐾

Quick Facts:
✔ Available as an injection or nasal spray
