🐾 Happy Veterinary Appreciation Day to all the heroes in scrubs! 🐾

At Scales Tails & Paws, we work hand-in-hand with the incredible veterinarians of central Ohio every single day — and we don't say thank you nearly enough.

From answering our 2am "is this normal?" questions about a bearded dragon's shed, to handling emergencies with calm and expertise, to just genuinely caring about every patient that walks (or slithers, or hops) through the door — vets and their teams make our job possible. Pet care is a team sport, and we're lucky to play alongside some of the best.

Daily Staff Evaluation

This morning I noticed a concerning lack of activity from the household at 4:15 a.m., so I took immediate action.

The primary staff member was successfully awakened and escorted to the coffee maker.

Lap service was soon made available upon my request.
Breakfast has not yet been served, which is disappointing.

However, I will note that the litter box was recently refreshed, so management does appear to be paying attention to the important metrics.

Overall performance has been acceptable.
