❤️🐾 7 YEARS OF MORENA! 🐾❤️

Seven years ago, Morena became part of the Shaw PBR family. Well, technically, she had a little detour in her story. She was adopted and spent a year in a home of her own, but things didn't work out the way we all hoped, and she found her way back to us.

And that’s the thing about rescue. Sometimes the happy ending looks a little different than we imagined. Sometimes it takes a few turns in the road to figure out where a dog belongs.

Morena has now been with us for seven years, and she's a reminder that when we take a dog into our care, we don't stop caring just because their story takes an unexpected turn. We make room, we pick up where we left off, and we keep going.

Would we have loved for her adoption to have been forever? Absolutely. But we're glad she had a place to come back to, and she's still part of our crew.

Happy Shaw PBR anniversary, Morena! Seven years and counting. ❤️

🍂❤️ A MONTH OF THANKS. A GOAL FOR THE YEAR AHEAD. 🐾

November is a month for giving thanks, counting our blessings, and finding ways to give back. This year, we have a special goal we'd love to accomplish before the holidays are over.

We want to head into the new year with a dedicated monthly sponsor for every single one of our Adopt-a-Bulls and Phat Farm critters. Not just a one-time donation, but someone who chooses an individual animal and commits to helping provide for them month after month throughout the year ahead.

Here's what we're working toward (those who don't yet have an ongoing sponsor):

🐶 18 Adopt-a-Bulls – $100/month each
🐷 10 Phat Farm Pigs – $25/month each
🐐 4 Phat Farm Goats – $25/month each

Think about what that would mean. No more starting from scratch each month, wondering how we'll cover these individual sponsorship goals. No more having to put that same need back out there month after month. Just dependable support already in place for the animals who count on us.

This Thanksgiving season, we'd love for you to choose a dog, pig, or goat to call your own. Sign up for an ongoing monthly sponsorship and help us check one more name off our list.

You don't have to take on the whole refuge or the entire farm. Just choose ONE. And if you're able to take on more than one, even better!
