Last Saturday Miss Stevie went to an adoption event at a local PetSmart and that is the day everything changed for her. While there she captured the heart of someone who went home and told his wife all about her and yesterday that came and adopted her.

Stevie had been in our shelter since March and she was ready for a home to call her own. Stevie is already spoiled and loving her new life with her forever family. The staff here can't thank you enough for opening your heart and home to our longest resident!

Dog of the Day: Mike & Tinkerbell

Mike is a mix breed, is approximately 3 years old & heart worm negative! His hobbies are jogging, hop scotch, & bird watching.

Tinkerbell is a shepherd mix, 1 year young, & heart worm negative! She loves swimming, sunbathing, & chasing pool toys.

Dog of the Day: Sparkles ✨

Sparkles is a Hound mix, 8 months old & heart worm negative! She joined us in April & still patiently waiting for a bestie. She loves cuddles, Chick-Fil-A, & tug of war. She is great with kids, pets & makes friends with just about anything & everyone.

Dog of the Day: Hydro 💙

He joined us in April & he’s still looking for his long lasting home. He is a mix breed, 3 years old, & heart worm positive. He loves kids, dirt, & helping change oil. He loves hanging out around the shop with the guys & cracking a cold on every now & then. If Hydro sounds like he’d fit in, come on in & visit

Over the past few weeks our community has really come together for our four-legged friends. Thank you so much to Rural King & Zachary's. Also thank you to all of the volunteers that has come in to help!

Update: ADOPTED‼️

Dog of the Day: Sage 🐾 she is one of our longest residents her at CLHS. She is a couch potato & loves belly rubs. She is 3 years young, great with older/calmer dogs & loves the Golden Girls. She is heart worm positive, but again that is never the end. She needs a quiet, laid back home with a family that will love her until the end 🥰

Dog of the Day: Gus 🐾 he is a 126lb big baby. He is a Great Dane, estimated to be 8-10 years old, & heart worm positive, & doesn’t seem to mind other dogs. He is waiting for someone to open their home & let him crash on the couch…or possibly king size bed.
