Lia writes "During my brother's deployment he grew a special bond with a stray kitten. "Baloocho" as he came to be known, the very friendly orange cat started to follow him everywhere and quickly became his little buddy. My brother knew he couldn't leave him behind so he decided to send him back to his family in NJ. Miraculously, Baloocho was put into a makeshift cat carrier and driven 7 hours from Syria to Iraq. From there the SPCA shipped him to the States. He made it to JFK airport and now resides safely and lavishly with our family, a much loved patient of Dr. T."
Memorial Day is a time to honor those who gave everything. Today, we remember, reflect, and show gratitude for their sacrifice. ❤️

The True Meaning of Mercy

For National Rescue Dog Day, Dr. T Vet Care honors a survivor who redefined the word MERCY. Found discarded on a city street, Mercy was a soul in crisis.

Her path to healing was grueling: both eyes removed and a splenectomy to save her life, . But Mercy’s spirit remained untouched by her trauma.

Today, she embodies the true meaning of mercy—it isn't just about the compassion shown to her, but the grace she shows the world. Even without eyes, Mercy "sees" everything. She is a thriving athlete who never misses a sunbeam or a chance to fetch her favorite orange ball.
