House of Dog Training We believe in using science-based dog training to help dog owners build strong bonds with their compa

When you come to us for training, daycare, or boarding, you can be assured that we will never use any harsh corrections nor any pain-inducing, fear-inducing or avoidance-based techniques. Our toolboxes do NOT contain choke chains, prong collars or shock collars. Training with your dog should be a fun experience for you AND your dog and based on mutual trust and respect rather than anxiety and fear

. We pledge to keep ourselves educated on the latest scientific developments and training methods and will not hesitate to speak out against abuse and neglect, thus giving a voice to the voiceless. We have three locations:

On a weekly basis, we get several requests for Service Dog Training. Previously, we have had to say “unfortunately we don’t have a trainer who specializes in SDT” then refer out. Well…surprise! One of our trainers is actively completing a program to become a well rounded SDT from start (assessing canine candidacy) to end (task training) so we can have a trainer in house!
Jordan is eager to help out those in our community who need a canine companion to navigate life! 💕🌸

Join Melanie in Obedience, Tricks & Fitness OH MY! Level one! A 6-week hybrid class to combine basic obedience, novice trick skills, and level one fitness to help build your dog's confidence while practicing skills to promote coordination, injury prevention, flexibility, and just plain FUN! Class starts on 4/13. Six classes for $250!

Titles earned during class (included in the cost of the class): Novice Tricks and Canine Conditioning Fitness - Level One from "Do More with Your Dog!" (Tricks title can be submitted to AKC for equivalent title as well!!

Prerequisite: Any Basic Manners Class

(Dogs with Behavioral Challenges can take this class through Private Lessons.)

Nose Work classes are great enrichment for shy, reactive, or overly excited dogs. Dogs delight in using their noses, and they do so at all stages of life. Although dogs are not born knowing how to maximize their noses for enjoyment, this class teaches them how to use their olfactory senses more efficiently for a more rewarding experience. Dogs work independently (one dog at a time), searching for high-value motivators. This class will prepare you and your dog for Introduction to Odor and a good first step towards competition. The class is six weeks for $250, and the next one starts 4/13!! Sign up while you still can!
