Hey friends, clients, and potential clients,

As many of you know, I’ve been caring for my elderly dad for the past 7½ years—nearly six of those without a real break.

I’ve finally booked myself a much-needed getaway for my birthday (October 6–13), and I’m looking for someone to help care for my dad and pets while I’m away.

My dad is fairly independent. He mostly needs companionship, help with simple meals, and maybe a short walk if he's feeling up to it. I have two dogs (who may be boarded) and three cats that will need daily care at home.

Since I’m a professional pet sitter, I’d love to arrange a trade for pet sitting services if that’s an option—but I’m also happy to pay a fair rate if needed.

Here’s a general idea of our daily routine:

8:30am: Wake up, coffee, newspaper, cereal, feed the animals

1:00pm: Lunch

6:30pm: Dinner + pet feeding

10:20pm: Bedtime after the news

These are the key times where help is needed. The more time you’re available during the day, the better—and staying overnight would be amazing!
