Dog groomer extraordinar at Preppy Pet Colleyville

I was told I might be able to get a couple of this girls nails done since nobody has been able to get them fully done before, but turns out she just needed some baby talk and patience!
Ms. Rebel was truly a sweetie 🌸💕

To say this girl was done with me by the end of her groom would be an understatement 😂 Her appointment must have been during nap time because she kept falling asleep on my table!
I love that I can work on pets more 1:1 now. It has totally changed the way I go about grooming and I’d say for the better.

When Mr. Hennessy first came in I feared the worst thinking he was gonna have to be an extra short 10 nose to tail but luckily I was able to work some magic and save some hair! ✂️
He was just recently adopted so he got more of a “start over” hair cut this time around, but he was an extremely good boy for the whole grooming process and I have high hopes for his future cuts!

I always encourage pet parents, especially those that have longer haired dogs, to brush their pups every 1-2 days. So if you haven’t brushed your dog today, here’s your reminder! You’re groomer and pup will thank you later 🩷

This girl won the cutest smiles award this week 🩷🐾
It may have been her first time here getting groomed but she definitely understand the assignment!

This sweet girl was so nervous when she first came in, but luckily she was very brave and we were able to work through those nerves and she did really well! 🎀🐶

This sweet girl is a natural model 🧚🏽‍♀️

When this ball of puppy energy first came in I was a little skeptical, but once she got on the table to get groomed she was an absolute pro!

Some of my favorite clients to groom are the babies 💖

In the grooming community we usually recommend bringing in your pups as soon as possible for there first groom to help them get used to the whole process. It can be kind of scary the first time, especially with all the new sounds, smells and feelings, but I love taking time to slow down and work with puppies to help them have a good first time grooming experience!

Even though they’re usually little balls of energy running around the table, I wouldn’t change it for the world! 🎀🐶

Hi everyone! I’m Elizabeth and this is where I’ll be sharing my ever continuing grooming journey 🎀

A brief intro about me, I started as a bather in Idaho for a “summer job” in 2019. Decided to move to Texas and start grooming in 2022 and haven’t looked back since! ✂️🐩

I’ve decided to post some of my older grooms first so that as time goes on I can hopefully see my progress as I continue to grow as a groomer. I love to learn and connect with others that have a similar passion for pets! 🐶
