Many changes are gonna be made leading up to 2026. Our growth has been slow as we are a small scale rabbitry and have had our bumps in the road. We are continuing to grow to provide beautiful hollands bred to ARBA standard. With being small scale to keep on growing we have to make some hard cuts 🥹. As well as making cuts taking the time to think about what project we want to focus on and have the cage space for.

Miss Dahlia here will be one of our few cuts in 2026. Beautiful broken black otter doe, she has a gorgeous coat 😍. My best friend tagged along on a wild day trip to Virginia to pick up this girl from Travers Hill Rabbitry. We've grown her out since 3 months old. She is finally starting to fill out more and grow into herself a bit. She is going on 8 months old. We will be trying for her first litter before she becomes available.

I absolutely love the otters and they are definitely a variety I want to work with. After sitting down and thinking it over. We will have to keep that project on hold until we can expand our rabbitry to have the space to start a separate project. Dahlia was definitely an impulse buy on my part 😅 but we've all been there! She is a sweet girl and gonna be a great addition to someone's otter project she has 2 GC in her lines 🥰💕.

Sadie's lil one is still hanging in there 💕. Seems mommas milk dried up. Poor baby dropped alot of weight and is now being hand raised. Its taking very well to the formula and syringe now. It was a struggle the first day or 2. But they should start growing and gaining little by little. They have really fluffed out 😅 cant hardly see its eyes because of all that floof!

Hoping for the best for the lil guy. It sure is a cutie and gonna have quite the personality🥰. I will be keeping baby with Momma this time around bottle feeding and just bringing baby in for feedings. So baby grows acclimated to outside temps.

Trouble and Risk will be 👀🏡's

These boys are the absolute sweetest they are always begging for attention. Its a shame what had happened to these boys at just 3 weeks old they were bite by a rat. They are strong boys and have grown so much.

Trouble is completely heeled with no long term injuries. He unfortunately has a show DQ as his fur grew back white one his foot where he was bit. He could potentially be a breeder or he would make a wonderful pet.

Risk has suffered some long term injury to his front right paw. The bite did facture a bone. He can not bend his leg at the ankle. He gets around great and the leg is healed. My vets feedback is he will not need the leg amputated. The fracture is calloused over. Maybe over time as he gets older he could get mobility in that joint again. He will be DQ'd from show but he could be a potential breeder or Pet 🏡 💕.

Need some advice from my breeder friends. I am leaning towards selling BBB Salem he just didnt turn out as great as I'd hope. I cant tell if its just because he wont sit up right for me or if its a structural issue 🤨. I feel he is short in the shoulders or possibly low head mount. I have not bred him he is a year old now. Should I test breed before selling him? I like his head and short compact body. His crown is slipped and he is weaker in the ankles. Im stumped he's great personality he was my favorite grow out. But I'm not too sure about him anymore. Ive gotten him out a few times and havent been all that impressed with him. Would you breed him once or move him on?

He was originally supposed to be bred to Dahlia (Broken black otter doe) but Im not sure if they really pair well together.

My page I like to share the reality of raising rabbits. This year is still hitting me hard with tragedy. I've had endured a lot of loss this year with litters compared to previous years. I was not expecting to be making this post. Skipbo has passed away 😓. I went out to take care of the rabbits this morning. Skipbo was passed and his brothers laying on him 🥺. Skipbo was doing so good he originally gotten coccidia. He was treated and bounced back nicely. He was putting weight back on greeted me every day. The boys wait at the front of the pen for pets. He was just fine last night gave everyone pets. This morning he was gone. With life comes loss and sometimes its just out of our control😢. Skipbo was an amazing boy and Ive tried so hard to give him a good chance at life. This poor litter has had a lot of challenges. Maybe its my own fault for trying to save them rather than culling them like the average breeder would have done. In my eyes they all deserved a fair chance and I'd do it over again.

With each loss its hard. I put a lot of my time and energy into my rabbits whether they are show quality or not they all mean something to me. Wish I would have gotten recent pics of him. I didnt realize I havent taken any in weeks 😓. Wish I would have taken one with him and his brothers. Rest in peace sweet boy🥹💕.

I am loving this boy💕 Ignore them obnoxious ears 😅. Love his limb and body 😍. Unfortunately he is the baby with the fractured front paw. So he most likely wont get to show. But keeping my eye on him to be a breeder👀. His right paw bends to the side instead of straight. He is the sweetest boy ever. The whole litter is so sweet. They always want attention!

The culprit that has been taking up alot of my time the past week 😅. This boy has been a HANDFUL but I must say he is cute 🥰. Momma neglected the litter, he is the last survivor and he sure is a mouthy one too.

Crazy thing is my cat could very much be the baby daddy 🤣. He escaped in august and was missing for 4 days. He told me he is not the father 👀 but Im not buying it! Never expected my 2 year old son would have to go on the Maury show. 😂 Poor lil one stuck with 2 deadbeat parents but I guess what are grandparents for...

So sorry you had to deal with car troubles on your trip down! I hope you guys had a safe trip home❤️.

This is gonna be a long one, this weekend has been a rough one. Miss Sadie girl had a litter of 6 Wednesday morning. 3 peanuts and 3 non peanuts. She didnt pull fur so I had to for them as its getting very cold at night. The 3 babies were doing so good. Got pictures of them Friday. Saturday was a busy day had a lot planned. I did not check on them, I wish I would have 🥺😫. I had thought about it too but I knew they were doing good. They looked great friday and all of them had milk bellies. This morning came with devastation. Just one day and we've lost 2 babies. I am not sure what happened. Branch sired the litter and I have not had any surviving babies from him. The good baby I did have from him and Fern died around 5-6 days old.

Once again, raising hollands isnt for the weak. It comes with the good and the bad. All we can do is grow from each experience and learn for the next. I know if I would of checked on them yesterday it wouldnt have guaranteed me being able to save them. Its possible they passed away thursday night. As to why that'll be a mystery. Im not sure if momma crushed them they got too cold. The last survivor is very warm and looks great. Im so confused about the one baby because he looked great friday. As for the smallest baby it was questionable if it would live.

On top of all of this yesterday my sister brought over 3 kittens that the momma cat isnt taking care of. There was 4 and 1 had already passed day prior. Just yesterday 2 more had passed with my efforts. We are down to one survivor with the kitties as well. The kitties weren't keeping body heat as soon as the heat pad goes off they go back to being cold. Even holding them they go cold. They were born outside so Im thinking they went hypothermic. Trying our best efforts for the last kitty. But its hard to say if he will make it or not😢.

Sweet dreams all the littles that have passed yesterday🥺💕.

Been pretty inactive the past week. Always something going on here! I do have a bit of an update. We did have a coccidia scare with SkipBo. Was not looking too good for him but he took very well to treatment and hes improved tremendously💕. He had me pretty worried but hes a strong boy. I have not had a baby get coccidia since 2023. With that popping up it reminded me my herd is due for prevention treatment. Everyone is almost finished up only a few more days left.

Preventive measures are so important when it comes to keeping a healthy herd! Here we give toltrazuril for coccidia preventative and treating. With going to more shows now and attending festivals, my goals for next year is staying more on top of prevention for my herd. The health of the herd always comes first before any sales. We want to ensure our buyers are getting healthy quality bunnies for years to come🥰.

Wanted to give ya'll an update on Mr. Quincy! He went to his new home the 27th. Was a very busy weekend with the huntingdon show on that Sunday. I forgot to make an update💕. It was very disappointing to have to let him go but I am so very happy for him to have found a wonderful forever home🥰. Thank you so much Alivia Giles for giving this sweet boy a wonderful home. He is the best 🥹

"We took him yesterday to the back pasture to see the goats, and he literally did not care about them at all and just wanted to eat grass. He also wags his tail side to side, which I’ve never seen a rabbit do but he always does that when we let him out dig in the dirt and the grass." ~Alivia Giles

He's a special boy😅. He wagged his tail here too. The day I had him running around in the shed. It was really cute until he sprayed all over🤣.

Thank you so much for the update and photos Alivia. He looks like a happy boy with his new people and home🥰💕.
